How are your relationships?

How are your relationships?  Healthy, strained, difficult?  I had an interesting conversation yesterday with friends about dealing with people with unrealistic expectations and lack of gratitude.  How do you handle them?  Analyze your relationships and put an effort into improving those that are worth keeping and distance yourself or learn to manage those that are not or are difficult to keep. We cannot choose the family we are born into or, necessarily, the people we are around (work, school, neighbors or otherwise) but we can choose how our relationship with them affects us. You may have some teaching to do!
